Hey! Are you looking for information on how to do electronics for escape rooms?
Are you looking for education on electronics in general? Or are you looking for projects, electronics and more that can help you in your everyday life – Then this site is for you!
What is embryonic.dk?
The page is divided into 3 sections:
- Escape room technology, is focused on the use of electronics in props and management of an escape room experience.
- Tools, handmade or purchased. If you want information on lasercutting or 3D printing, this is the section to look for.
- General electronic projects and other DIY projects. Looking for an audio amplifier? this is where to go.
Who is this site for?
The site is for everyone. Some articles might be a bit technical for some while others will discuss the very basic principles of electronics. Whether you’re a beginner or a professional I hope that you will find something interesting for you.
When did it all start
Embryonic.dk was founded in 2006 and has served as a blogging platform for personal projects. Looking back at the archives the activity has only been increasing – a trend that will continue!
Who’s behind it?
We’re a small dedicated duo that work to bring you the best news in the field:
A 30-year old electronics engineer with a huge interest in hobby-electronics and LED applications. Firmware developer by day, hardware developer by night.
“I have always had an interest in electronics. Just imagine all the things we have in our life today. Without electronic where would we be? I love when I can make a small device that can make people say ‘oooh I didn’t knew that there was electronics inside’. Take a look at the escape room technology category for just this kind of projects.

Hello all users!
My name is Zenia and I have had the pleasure of following Hans Peters projects the last couple of years.
I have experienced him firsthand bursting with unique ideas but lacking the time since there is not enough hours in the day!
By joining our efforts we have been able to harness our creativity in a more productive way so I look forward to help Embryonic evolve.
And last but not least!!
I have volunteered to be his Cavy :P for his upcoming YouTube videos where he will share some of his insights.
I look forward to mostly working behind the screen to bring you inspiration.
I want more!
Sure thing! Sign up for our (monthly) newsletter to get the latest information about our activities. This will include a digest version of the latest blog posts and a summary of what will happen next. Find the form to the right.
